Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever provides for two girls until they reach puberty, he will come on the Day of Judgment, me and him," and he joined his fingers.
Narrated by MuslimThe Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informed that one who is granted two daughters, or two sisters, and he takes care of them by providing for them, raising them, directing them to goodness, and warning them against evil and the like until they grow up and reach puberty, he will come on the Day of Judgment along with the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) like these two, and he joined his index and middle fingers.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will not enter Paradise until you believe and you will not believe until you love one another. Shall I guide you to something which, if you do, you will love one another? Spread the greeting of peace among yourselves."
Narrated by MuslimThe Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) clarified that none will enter Paradise except the believers, and faith will not be perfect and the Muslim society will not be in good condition unless they love one another. Then, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) guided us to the best means of spreading love, namely spreading the greeting of peace among Muslims, as Allah has made peace a greeting for His slaves.
Abu ’Umāmah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) delivering a sermon in the Farewell Hajj saying: "Fear Allah your Lord, pray your five, fast your month, give the Zakah due on your wealth, obey your rulers, and you will enter your Lord's Paradise."
Narrated by At-Termedhy & AhmadThe Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon on the Day of ‘Arafah, during the Farewell Hajj in 10 AH, and it was called so because he (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) bid people farewell therein. He commanded all people to fear their Lord by obeying His commands and avoiding His prohibitions. He also ordered them to perform the five prayers that Allah Almighty has made obligatory every day and night, to fast the month of Ramadān, to give the Zakah due on their wealth to those who are entitled to it and not to withhold it out of stinginess, and to obey those whom Allah has assigned as their rulers when their obedience does not entail disobeying Allah. Whoever does these things that are mentioned, his reward is admission to Paradise.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not guide you to what Allah erases the sins and elevates the ranks with?" They said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: "Performing ablution thoroughly despite the hardships, frequent steps to mosques, and waiting for one prayer after another; such is the Ribāt (garrison)."
Narrated by MuslimThe Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) asked his Companions if they wanted him to guide them to deeds that would be a means of forgiving sins and erasing them from the records of the guardian angels and elevating ranks in Paradise. The Companions said: Yes, we want this. He said: First: Completing and perfecting the ablution despite hardships like coldness, scarcity of water, physical pain, and hot water. Second: Frequent steps—distance between the two feet—made to mosques, given the remoteness of the house from the mosque and the frequent repetition. Third: Waiting for the time when the prayer becomes due, having one's heart attached to it, getting ready for it, and sitting in the mosque for its sake, waiting for the congregation. Then, on performing the prayer, one stays in his prayer area waiting for another prayer. After that, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) clarified that such things represent the real Ribāt (standing at the frontline of danger against the enemy) because it blocks the devil's ways to the self, overpowers personal desires, and prevents the self from accepting the devil's whispering. This way, the party of Allah defeats the devil's soldiers, which is the major Jihad, and that puts it in the same position of standing guard at the frontline against the enemy.
Abu ad-Dardā’ (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not inform you of the best of your deeds and the purest in the sight of your Sovereign and the highest in your ranks and better for you than spending gold and silver, and better for you than encountering your enemy so you strike their necks and they strike your necks?" They said: Yes. He said: "Dhikr (remembrance) of Allah Almighty."
Narrated by At-Termedhy & Ibn Majah & AhmadThe Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) asked his Companions: Do you want me to tell you and inform you of the best of your deeds, and the most honorable, the most fruitful, the most virtuous, and the purest in the sight of Allah Almighty, the Owner? Do you want me to tell you and inform you of the best of your deeds, the most honorable, the most fruitful, the most virtuous, and the purest in the sight of Allah Almighty, the Owner? . Deeds that are the highest in terms of your ranks in Paradise? And that are better for you than giving gold and silver in charity? And better for you than encountering the disbelievers in a battle and striking their necks and having them strike yours? The Companions said: Yes, we want this. He (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: Dhikr of Allah Almighty at all times, in all postures, and all circumstances.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May his nose be rubbed in dust, then may his nose be rubbed in dust, and may his nose be rubbed in dust." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, who? He said: "The one whose parents, one of them or both, reach old age in his life yet he does not enter Paradise."
Narrated by MuslimThe Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) invoked humiliation and disgrace to the extent that it was as if he had put his nose in the dust - repeating this thrice. He was, thus, asked: O Messenger of Allah, who is this one against whom you supplicated? He (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: The one whose parents—one of them or both—reached old age in his life, and they were not a means of admitting him to Paradise given his unkindness and undutifulness towards them.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) was walking on the path of Makkah, and he passed by a mountain called Jumdān, so he said: "Proceed, this is Jumdān. Al-Mufarridūn have gone far ahead." They said: O Messenger of Allah, what is Al-Mufarridūn? He said: "Those men and women who remember Allah frequently."
Narrated by MuslimThe Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) highlighted the status of those who remember Allah frequently and how they are unique and far ahead of others given their highest ranks in the Gardens of Pleasure. He likened them to Mount Jumdān, which stands alone apart from other mountains.
Ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I met Ibrāhīm (Abraham) on the night I was taken for a journey, and he said: O Muhammad, convey my greetings of peace to your Ummah and tell them that Paradise has pure soil and sweet water. It is vast plain lands and its seedlings are: Subhānallāh (glory be to Allah), Al-hamdulillāh (praise be to Allah), La ilāha illallāh (there is no god but Allah), and Allāhu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)."
Narrated by At-TermedhyThe Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) states that he met Abraham, Al-Khalīl, (peace be upon him) on the Night of Isrā’ and Mi'rāj, and he said to him: O Muhammad, convey my greetings of peace to your Ummah and inform them that Paradise has a pleasant soil and sweet water that is not salty. Tell them that Paradise is spacious, plain, and treeless. Its seedlings are the good words, which are the lasting righteous deeds: Subhānallāh (glory be to Allah), Al-hamdulillāh (praise be to Allah), La ilāha illallāh (there is no god but Allah), and Allāhu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest). Whenever the Muslim says and repeats them, a seedling is planted for him in Paradise.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: A man said: O Messenger of Allah, I have relatives with whom I maintain kinship ties, but they sever them with me; I treat them kindly, but they mistreat me; I tolerate them, but they are intolerant with me. He said: "If you are as you say, then it is as if you are feeding them hot ashes, and you will continue to have a supporter against them from Allah as long as you continue to do this."
Narrated by MuslimA man complained to the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) about his relatives and kins and how he treats them kindly, but they treat him in the opposite manner. He maintains kinship ties with them and visits them, but they sever ties with him. He shows them kindness and loyalty, but they treat him unfairly and roughly. He tolerates and pardons them, but they are intolerant towards him, and this shows in their bad words and actions. Should he continue maintaining kinship ties with them despite what is mentioned? The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: If the case is the way you mentioned, then you disgrace and degrade them before their own selves as if you are feeding them hot ashes, given your abundant kindness and their hideous way of acting. You will continue to have a supporter against them from Allah that wards off their harm as long as you continue to be kind to them as mentioned and as long as they keep treating you badly.
