﴿ ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا ٱلۡأٓخَرِينَ ﴾
سورة الشعراء
66. Then We drowned the others.
﴿ فَلَمۡ يَكُ يَنفَعُهُمۡ إِيمَٰنُهُمۡ لَمَّا رَأَوۡاْ بَأۡسَنَاۖ سُنَّتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي قَدۡ خَلَتۡ فِي عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ ﴾
سورة غافر
But never did their faith benefit them once they saw Our punishment. [It is] the established way of Allāh which has preceded among His servants. And the disbelievers thereupon lost [all].
﴿ وَقَدۡ أَضَلُّواْ كَثِيرٗاۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَٰلٗا ﴾
سورة نوح
And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error."
﴿ قَالُواْ يَٰذَا ٱلۡقَرۡنَيۡنِ إِنَّ يَأۡجُوجَ وَمَأۡجُوجَ مُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَهَلۡ نَجۡعَلُ لَكَ خَرۡجًا عَلَىٰٓ أَن تَجۡعَلَ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَهُمۡ سَدّٗا ﴾
سورة الكهف
94. They said: "O Dhul-Qarnain! Verily Ya’jûj and Ma’jûj (Gog and Magog)[7] are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?"
﴿ قُلۡ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يَعۡصِمُكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنۡ أَرَادَ بِكُمۡ سُوٓءًا أَوۡ أَرَادَ بِكُمۡ رَحۡمَةٗۚ وَلَا يَجِدُونَ لَهُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِيّٗا وَلَا نَصِيرٗا ﴾
سورة الأحزاب
Say, "Who is it that can protect you from Allāh[1186] if He intends for you an ill or intends for you a mercy?" And they will not find for themselves besides Allāh any protector or any helper.
﴿ فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجۡرٗا ﴾
سورة الصافات
and those who drive [the clouds],
﴿ فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ ﴾
سورة المرسلات
So when the stars are obliterated
﴿ إِنَّآ أَنذَرۡنَٰكُمۡ عَذَابٗا قَرِيبٗا يَوۡمَ يَنظُرُ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدَاهُ وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡكَافِرُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ تُرَٰبَۢا ﴾
سورة النبأ
Indeed, We have warned you of an imminent punishment on the Day when everyone will see what his hands have sent forth[13], and the disbeliever will say, “Oh, I wish that I were dust!”
﴿ وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُونِ ﴾
سورة الذاريات
And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.
﴿ أَفَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلنُّهَىٰ ﴾
