﴿ مُدۡهَآمَّتَانِ

سورة الرحمن

﴿ وَعَلَٰمَٰتٖۚ وَبِٱلنَّجۡمِ هُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ

سورة النحل

16. And landmarks (signposts during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves.

﴿ فَهَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُم بَغۡتَةٗۖ فَقَدۡ جَآءَ أَشۡرَاطُهَاۚ فَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمۡ إِذَا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ ذِكۡرَىٰهُمۡ

سورة محمد
line

Are they but waiting for the Hour to come upon them by surprise? Already [some of] its signs have appeared[13]. What good will it do them to take heed when it actually befalls them?

﴿ أَصۡطَفَى ٱلۡبَنَاتِ عَلَى ٱلۡبَنِينَ

سورة الصافات
line

Did He choose daughters over sons[36]?

﴿ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجۡرٌ عَظِيمٞ

سورة التوبة
line

[They will be] abiding therein forever. Indeed, Allāh has with Him a great reward.

﴿ وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا قَبۡلَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِينَ إِلَّآ إِنَّهُمۡ لَيَأۡكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ وَيَمۡشُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَسۡوَاقِۗ وَجَعَلۡنَا بَعۡضَكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٖ فِتۡنَةً أَتَصۡبِرُونَۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرٗا

سورة الفرقان
line

20. And We never sent before you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience? And your Lord is Ever All-Seer (of everything).

﴿ وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

سورة الواقعة

And if he was of the companions of the right,

﴿ ذَوَاتَآ أَفۡنَانٖ

سورة الرحمن
line

48. With spreading branches.

﴿ وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّن كُتُبٖ يَدۡرُسُونَهَاۖ وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَبۡلَكَ مِن نَّذِيرٖ

سورة سبأ

And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, and We had not sent to them before you, [O Muḥammad], any warner.

﴿ كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٞ

سورة عبس
line

11. Nay, (do not do like this); indeed it (this Qur’ân) is an admonition.
