﴿ سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ ﴾

سورة القدر

Peace it is[1956] until the emergence of dawn.

﴿ وَنَفۡسٖ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا ﴾

سورة الشمس

7. By Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul), and Him Who perfected him in proportion;

﴿ وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٖ ﴾

سورة الجاثية

7. Woe to every sinful liar

﴿ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱدۡخُلُواْ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسَةَ ٱلَّتِي كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡ وَلَا تَرۡتَدُّواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَارِكُمۡ فَتَنقَلِبُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ ﴾

سورة المائدة

21. "O my people! Enter the holy land (Palestine) which Allâh has assigned to you and turn not back (in flight); for then you will be returned as losers."

﴿ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَحۡدَهُ ٱشۡمَأَزَّتۡ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ ﴾

سورة الزمر

And when Allāh is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice.

﴿ وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ يَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَيُذَبِّحُونَ أَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَيَسۡتَحۡيُونَ نِسَآءَكُمۡۚ وَفِي ذَٰلِكُم بَلَآءٞ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِيمٞ ﴾

سورة إبراهيم

And [recall, O Children of Israel], when Moses said to his people, "Remember the favor of Allāh upon you when He saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who were afflicting you with the worst torment and were slaughtering your [newborn] sons and keeping your females alive. And in that was a great trial from your Lord.

﴿ قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ ﴾

سورة الأنعام

Say, “If I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a momentous Day.”

﴿ وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾

سورة الشعراء

And lower your wing [i.e., show kindness] to those who follow you of the believers.

﴿ وَضَلَّ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَدۡعُونَ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَظَنُّواْ مَا لَهُم مِّن مَّحِيصٖ ﴾

سورة فصلت

Whatever they used to supplicate before will vanish from them, and they will realize that they have no escape.

﴿ يَٰقَوۡمَنَآ أَجِيبُواْ دَاعِيَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَامِنُواْ بِهِۦ يَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَيُجِرۡكُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٖ ﴾

سورة الأحقاف

O our people, respond to the Caller [i.e., Messenger] of Allāh[1488] and believe in him; He [i.e., Allāh] will forgive for you your sins and protect you from a painful punishment.

‘Abdullāh ibn Mughaffal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is a prayer between every two Adhāns; there is a prayer between every two Adhāns." The third time, he said: "for whoever wills."

Narrated by Bukhari & Muslim

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) pointed out that there is a supererogatory prayer between every Adhān and Iqāmah, repeating this three times. He informed in the third time that this is recommended for whoever wants to offer this prayer.

‘Ubādah ibn as-Sāmit (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Gold for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, and salt for salt, like for like, equal for equal, hand to hand. If these classes differ, sell as you wish if it is hand to hand."

Narrated by Muslim

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) clarified the correct method of sale involving any of the six Riba-based classes, which are: gold, silver, wheat, barley, dates, and salt. If they are of the same type, such as selling gold for gold and silver for silver, two conditions must be fulfilled: First: Equality in weight if it is weighed, such as gold and silver, or equality in measure if it is measured, such as wheat, barley, dates, and salt. Second: The seller must receive the payment, and the buyer must take possession of the item in the same session in which the sale contract is made. If these classes differ, such as selling gold for silver or dates for wheat, then the sale is permissible with one condition: the seller must receive the payment, and the buyer must take possession of the item in the same session in which the contract is made. Otherwise, the sale is invalid, and both the buyer and the seller have fallen into forbidden Riba (usury).

Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any person who says to his brother: O disbeliever, it will, indeed, fall upon one of them; if he is as he said, or else it will return to him."
